The Crazy Cow

Mad Cow is a patron festival that is celebrated on October 26 in honor of the Virgin Mary. This festival mixes fun with shows, along with maneuvers and artists who sing, making this experience satisfying.

This festival takes place in different parts of Ecuador, so there is no single place and it is celebrated on October 26

The origin of the celebration is not known with certainty, although it is estimated that it may have been a contribution brought from other lands at the time of the Spanish conquest, although it has been mimicked in such a way in the Ecuadorian culture of those times.

People who attend this festival commonly wear any type of clothing, so there is no clothing to attend. In the case of artists who perform, they must wear their respective attire

This event takes place in an open public space, so there are different food stalls, from which people eat.

People watch the event calmly and almost at the end music is played for those who want to dance and drink.

This event is intended to entertain families and for the church (which is the organizer) to raise funds for renovations or changes to the church.
